The recently arrived D-Arts Beelzebumon, compared with the old Japanese Impmon/Beelzebumon transformer. The transformer is clearly modelled on Blast Mode (the eyes are green), but lacks the arm cannon, whereas the D-Arts version is based on the "corrupted" mode.

Earlier this year, a prototype of Beelzebumon Blast was displayed, but so far, there's been no news if it's coming out, and apparently, Beelzebumon is proving difficult to sell - I got him on Hobby Link Japan for $40, and that was the sale price, and the cheapest you're ever going to find the figure, unless you live in Japan.

huge quality difference there. I cant wait for D-Arts to release their Blast Mode version.

Bad news bud, I was checking out With the Will's forums a couple days back, curious about the D-Arts Metal Garurumon that was displayed last year, and apparently there weren't any Digimon prototypes on display at the summer Japanese toyfair, like there were last year - and that, plus the apparently weak sales for Beelzebumon here, have a lot of of fans wondering if the line's been scrapped.

Here's hoping that's not the case, of course ^_^
